In an effort to make the golf swing more consistent I had a set of reduced progressive length irons made. These irons progress in length by 3/8 of an inch or about 1cm as you move through the set, rather than the standard inch progression. This means ball position, address and swing remain relatively closer together resulting in more consistency. To further improve consistency they have been swing-weight matched too.
The 7 iron is 37.5" and the set is built around the 7 irons.As seen in photos some "clatter" damage and a ding to the toe of the 7 iron. Nothing affects play.Wedges have been ground to reduce some weight in order to compensate for increased length. Overall a better alternative to single length irons because the ball flights remain more standard and distance gapping is more consistent. These are King Cobra forged SS iron heads. Fairly upright lie angle.Shafts are all Stiff flex and vary in order to even out ball flights. So low lofted irons are easier to get up into the air. 60-degree-wedge to 8-iron are Gold Dynamic Stiff, 6/7-iron shafts are Apollo Stepped Shafts, 4/5-Iron are Apollo Shadow Lite Shafts. Wedges are Progen 52, 56, 60 degree. They have been ground down and don't look pretty but play great!All come with Jumbomax Medium grips installed logo facing down (i.e. not seen at address).
