The mystery lies in the excellent condition of the clubs. How is this possible on used clubs manufactured in January 2003? Ping had no information about reconditioning these clubs. The grip is a Golf Pride Victory grip, as per the spec list, but the shaft might be an upgrade, the marking says "True Temper Dynamic Gold". Most of the labels are still on the shafts and there is even a sticker still remaining on the 6 iron shaft. It reads: "M R S PING". And where is the #2 iron which is listed in the specs? It is my understanding that the 2 iron is generally only used by professional golfers.Give your favorite golfer dad a father's day gift that will intrigue him. He can brag about his shiny pro clubs while he and his golf buddies ponder the mysterious golf pro who gave away his 2003 tournament set but kept the #2 iron.Club(s):2-9PW
