This is by far THE BEST ELECTRIC GOLF CART MADEThis model is a new GT sport cart with a special kit that allows it to be motorizedI have used and repaired many electric golf carts and Sun Mountain is the best. I have another one of these that i use everyday at the golf course. You do not get the old man looks because most of the time you are walking behind it effortlessly. This machine has a unique wheel motor in the front that is extremely quiet. No one knows you have an electric cart.The control panel is so well designed. The go button is at your thumb so you easily push on or push off. As you are walking you can also press the 15, 30 or 60 yard button s to send the cart ahead. I hit my drive and hit the 60 yard button 3 times and walk comfortably 4-6 ft behind the cart. When you reach the green then hit the 15 or 30 to send the cart to the next Tee box.The unit is front wheel drive so on some hills you may need to walk behind it and gently lift on the handle to allow it to drive. We have a very hilly course and i only need to do this on one steep hillAll parts on this beauty are new and the cart frame is new. This is my Lithium model. I also have a standard lead acid battery version. Call me to discuss the price. Fred 814-659-6812. This battery slides in and out and has its own charge indicator. It is 12.5 Amp Hours and will easily get 2 rounds of normal courses. I have gotten three rounds on mine. There is no electrical connections to make. Just slide it in and turn it on. The battery only weighs 4 lbs and is good for hundreds of charge cyclesThe other thing I love about this cart is it gives you a nice storage compartment (magnetic close lid so it doesn't open accidentally when you fold it) at your fingertips. Perfect for Phone, Cigars, Pipe, Lighters Balls and Tees. Plus a nice mesh basket for your range finder or other items. The compartment had two rubber bands for the pencil and cup holder . Special Smartphone holder and swivel cupholderSeparate umbrella holder with bungee holder which screws to the top of the frame and stores neatly underneathThe cart folds neatly and is almost as light as a standard push cart for easy fitment into the trunk.These carts will run circles around Bat Caddy, Cart Tek, Kangaroo, Hill Billy, Bag Boy and others. You wont be disappointedI have repaired them all. You can find new carts for less. They are Chinese models and wont last but 2 seasons. Most of the golfers i know cant even make it past one season with them. Constantly break and are very fragile. They also don't have room to store items and the batteries are very heavy.
