The 915 D2 as with previous models provides a higher launch with a more dynamic face closure compared the the D3 option. ARC (Active Recoil Channel) Technology - A wide channel cut into the sole of the club just behind the face delivers increased distance by actively flexing at impact to launch the ball with higher speed and lower spin. Drivers without ARC technology tend to have a rigid sole, creating more flex in the crown at impact, leading to higher spin. Radial Speed Face - More distance on off-centre hits, has been created through a new high speed face insert, designed with a thick centre and radially thin perimeter towards the heel and toe. High MOI Design - by reducing thickness towards the face of the driver it has allowed Titleist's engineers to strategically place weight towards the back, creating a low and deep CG that provides ball speed preserving forgiveness.
