A set of Ping G2 Irons currently set at colour code BLACK suitable for height 5'8" to 6'. These can be adjusted to other colour codes. Serial No B00017805 Shafts are Ping AWT FIRM flex shafts designed for above average swingspeeds that encourage a higher ball flight and softer landing on the green for added carry and control. Heads are 17-4 stainless steel in gun metal finish and are investment cast and then heat treated. These are top quality and will virtually last a lifetime . Ping clubs from the early 70s are still being used and are in good condition. No other club manufacturer makes clubs as good as this. The G2 is the next generation on from the incredidbly popular PING i3 model . It offers an increased hitting area and effective sweetspot so that mishit or off centre shots go further.
The 3, 4 & 5 irons ate the hl (higher launch) design to make it easier to get the ball into the air. These were the first form of hybrid design now common in many sets. Pings are such good quality that they will last virtually a lifetime with sets from early 70s still being sold and used. Shafts are PING AWT firm and are in excellent condition. 9/10 Heads are in excellent condition, having been re finished with no major marks or chips. 9/10 see all photos to see the difference before and after to see the condition. Grips are NEW Tour tech standard size for Medium and Medium Large Glove size 10/10 Pictures of refurbished heads to be uploaded shortly so watch this space.
