MINT Ping ISI K iron set 3-SI. ZZ65 steel shaft. PGA Pro seller

A superb mint condition set of the iconic Ping ISI K irons 3-W + 58 degree ping tour sand iron set at BLUE code for approx. height 5' 10" to 6' 2" but can be adjusted if required FOC. The ISI model was developed as a hybrid from the classic looks of the Eye 2 and playability benefits of the Ping Zing models. A five finger stabilising system in the cavity delivers ultimate hitting performance on off centre hits. The ISI K model is the oversize version of the original ISI and is aimed at golfers seeking maximum help on off centre hits. Refurbished clubheads and refinished faces give as new performance. The heads are masked and the hitting area sandblasted with aluminium oxide sand particles to leave a matt finish which helps generate more backspin and control. (This is an industry standard process used by all the major club manufacturersand gives the distinctive matt appearance seen on new clubs). Current grips are original yellow Ping in good condition. Other grips can be fitted at extra cost. Ask for further details. Essentially like a new set of clubs but less than half the original price of £500 back in 2000. Why buy a poorer quality new set when you can havee a top of the range mint second hand set for the same money. Ping ISI heads are made from 17-4 PH stainless steel . The name comes from the additions 17% Chromium and 4% Nickel. It also contains 4% Copper and 0.3% Niobium. 17-4 PH is also known as stainless steel grade 630. This material has been used by Ping to make clubs that last over 40 years and when cold heat treated to realigned the crystalline structure allows for the club heads to be adjusted for loft and lie to allow for personal customisation, usually this is only available in softer forged heads where they can be adjusted to suit the height of each golfer.
