Look at the pictures and compare with the manufacturers website. 2. Ensure your seller's record with Paypal offers full value protection for your purchase. 3. Beware of auctions with pictures taken directly from a manufacturers web site. 4. Will your seller allow you to have a look at the clubs before purchase or pick them up after purchase - much better to know your seller. 4. Does your seller accept Paypal - it is the safest method of payment - I know from bitter experience that even a bank to bank internet transfer to a UK high street bank is not retrievable unless you go through the Police and it takes months if not more than a year! 5. Don't rely on serial numbers - ie a lot of Callaway counterfeit irons have serial numbers on the 8 iron. A lot of genuine Callaway clubs don't! 6. Is your seller an Ebay Power seller with a few years of trading on Ebay - counterfeit sellers may sell a lot in a short space of time BUT they will not last more than a year as an Ebay seller before they are banned. 7.
