You are viewing a set of CALLAWAY TOUR AUTHENTIC PROTOTYPE FORGED IRONS KBS STIFF 3-PW . These clubs retailed at $1500.00 3-PW. They are in excellent condition for their age and do contain the usual nicks and scratches from a carry bag and play. The grips are Golf pride CP2 PRO midsize that have three rounds on them . You will love the grips . The shafts are KBS TOUR stiff 1 inch over standard . All shaft bands are intact . They were forged by Endo of Japan . One of the best forge foundries in the world . Hence the soft feel and instant feedback . If you have the skill or would like to play forged irons you could not pick a better set . The faces show little wear with the short irons showing the most no browning . Grooves are deep with very little wear . When struck away from the sweet spot you will lose distance but the ball will fly on your intented path. A well struck shot feels like butter and explodes off the club face with a penetrating ball flight . You do not have to be a scratch golfer to play theses irons . They can help you to learn how to find the sweet spot on a consistant basis through feedback . I have owned and played many tour irons and not even a Mizzy feels as sweet as the TOUR AUTHENTICS when squared up . They were designed with feedback from the Callaway touring pros they prefer a compact head with a thin top line and narrow sole . Allowing you the opportunity to escape most lies you will face on the golf course . The aesthetics are gorgeous tour chrome and very little badging CALLAWAY and PROTOTYPE in black very understated . You will notice on the hosels the stamp R followed by dots . It means they are Tour heads and the colored dots represent the lie angle . All heads are two degrees upright . This is as close as you can come to an actual set of Tour irons . 7-pw are the QUAD DOTS the retail version lighter heads and a bit more bounce and leading edge grind . The 8 iron has a serial number . The rest of the set does not . Damaged during play struck a buried impediment. Due to the soft metal they are easy to manipulate up or down .The reason for the sale back issues and will be taking time away .
