ECCO have developed this resilient, shock absorbent material and injected this into the foot shaped mould, which provides integrated shock absorption and extreme flexibility.HYDROMAX is exclusive ECCO treatment used to make the leather is highly water resistant, this allows the shoe to keep your feet dry when it is submerged in water for roughly 8 hours at a time. Shoes that come with Hydromax leather come with a 1 year water resistant guarantee. The process of the leather is treated with a mixture of paraffin and silicone bases during the re-tanning process, to create water repellent leather that remains luxurious.

However we do advise that you let your shoes dry out in room temperature after they have been submerged in water for an extended period of time before to ensure the quality and resistance of the leather does not change over time.
