This auction is for a nice, Fubuki Alpha 70 stiff flex fairway shaft by Mitsubishi Rayon. The shaft has the original Fubuki graphics with a new Ping G30 adapter offering up to 2* of adjustability with your Ping G30 or G fairway head. The shaft comes with a very nice, new, black/white DTG Tour Velvet style grip. This shaft can be used to upgrade your Ping G30 or G fairway head. The shaft with adapter is just over 42 3/16" inches and will play just about 43" in your Ping G30 or G fairway head. The shaft is in pretty good shape with just normal bag wear in the form of nicks, scuffs, scrapes, and scratches. I have over 99% positive feedback so buy with confidence. The Alpha's profile utilizes an enhanced version of the original MD Tip Technology application that was first used by Mitsubishi in 2009 to launch the Fubuki TOUR profile that registered 5 official driver shaft victories on the PGA TOUR and European Tour combined in only its first season on Tour1. The second profile also includes a new application of the MD Technology along the entire length of the shaft, to increase torsional stability not offered on the original.With a bend profile designed utilizing Mitsubishi Rayon's propriety swing analysis software, the Fubuki Alpha series delivers smooth acceleration, increased stability at impact and slightly lower launch and spin than the original Fubuki Tour profile.MD Technology
For the Fubuki Alpha series, Mitsubishi has refined the original MD Technology that creates a hinge like effect, in order to deliver a combination of high launch and low spin in a traditional tip-stiff Tour-proven bend profile. To improve upon the original application, Mitsubishi identified and selected custom fibers by shaft flex Regular, Stiff, X-Stiff, to optimize performance for each player. For shaft flexes typically used by players with higher swing speeds, Mitsubishi combined higher modulus carbon fibers to prevent too high of a launch. And for shaft flexes typically used by players with slower swing speeds, Mitsubishi used standard modulus carbon fibers to prevent too low a spin number while optimizing flight, trajectory and angle of descent.
