Up for auction is this CLASSIC and CLASSY pair of vintage Etonic golf shoes made in the U.S.A., size 10 1/2E with steel cleats, never worn and in excellent condition!
These shoes were acquired by me with other items in 2011 in a thrift shop in the San Francisco East Bay city of Pleasant Hill.  Per the manager of the store, earlier that day a gentleman in a large cadillac sedan donated a trunkful of items.  These shoes as well as about 20 pairs of never-used golf shoes, all size 10 1/2 E, packages of never opened golf shirts from many different celebrity tournaments (tagged with the name Joe DiMaggio), a couple like-new golf bags, bags of new shirts with the fronts reading Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and several other pieces of clothing including a Tuxedo by Lanvin (Paris and New York)- which I wear personally to this day, were acquired by me on that day!   The gentleman who donated these items (heaped in a pile) and acquired by me was purportedly a scout with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and a friend of Joe DiMaggio (baseball legend) who helped "Joe" clean out his garage in the Marina district of San Francisco that was damaged and needed to be repaired after the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989!  This friend of Joe told the thrift store manager he had "stored" these things in his garage since 1989 and needed to get rid of them!!!!!!!!!  ANYWAY, as the story goes............I am including the following link for your reading interest regarding Joe DiMaggio and my story:
Happy Bidding on this pair of great vintage Etonic's!  BID AGGRESSIVELY and watch for our listings with the remainder of fabulous classic shoes!  Good Luck!
