Hello and thanks for stopping by. Here we have a Superb Limited edition Sterling Solid Silver Beaker Hallmarked: Edinburgh - 2000 Maker: H & I for Hamilton & Inches
Hamilton & Inches is now the only Scottish manufacturing Goldsmiths Company to survive from the 19th Century. They hold a Royal Warrant to Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II as Silversmiths.This stunning Beaker is of Cylindrical tapering form. The lower body of the Beaker has a raised decoration of St. Andrews Royal & Ancient Golf Course.
The scene depicts the famous 'The Old Course Hotel' with the Swilcan Bridge. Flowing around the beaker base the raised decoration continues to revel the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral.
This Beaker is a Limited addition from a set of 6. They were produced from 1999 - 2004, one Beaker was made each year with a celebratory scene. 6 in all.
Jack Nicklaus in 2000 waved farewell to the crowds as Tiger Woods took the Cup and being the youngest Grand Slam winner in 2000 at St. Andrews.
The Beaker comes complete with a beautiful fitted case from Hamilton & Inches.
The Beaker is in near Mint condition and fully Gold Gilt to the interior.
Fully Hallmarked to the base.
