Ping Beryllium Copper Eye 2 Irons, Woods, and Putter

Ping Golf Club Set Beryllium Copper Eye 2 Irons & Woods + Putter  IRONS - Here's a great set of the classic Ping Eye2 (BeCu) Beryllium Copper Irons.  I am the original owner of these clubs, bought in 1987.  Played with them for about a year, used plastic caps to prevent scratching, and then put them in the closet until now.  I re-gripped them in the Tempo grip, which is the Ping replacement style and color from Lampkin.   The grips are in excellent condition. The shafts are stiff flex.  You will receive the 2-PW irons with matching serial numbers (serial# 24765), plus the coveted Sand Wedge which is in near perfect condition also bearing that serial number. This is a totally matched set! You can call Ping at 1-800-474-6434 to verify this set - they will tell you these irons are registered as blue dot, with a C8 swing weight, I have kept them in their original specification.  These clubs have the famous square grooves that were grandfathered by the USGA as conforming at the time.  Ping does not make Beryllium Copper irons anymore - therefore these clubs should not only hold their value but also, increase in time making them a great investment.  You can see from the pictures that the SW, one of the most sought after clubs, is in excellent condition.  No doubt, you will spin the ball with this sand wedge. Due to regulatory issues and high costs, (BeCu) clubs are difficult to find in current production, so vintage and pre-owned clubs remain in demand.”  Woods - Here are the matching Ping Eye2 Woods that I bought at the same time.  Included are the Driver, 2, 3, 4, and 5 woods – YES, YOU READ IT RIGHT – IT SAYS 2 WOOD! That makes 5 woods in this deal. They are laminated woods (wood-woods) producing the feel that only wood gives you.  These woods are solid.  I hit the Driver over 300 yards and the 2 wood about 280 when I used them.  I was a very low handicap golfer, so there are no sky mark blems of any kind.  It is very rare to find older clubs in this kind of condition, but here they are.  Minor varnish wear only on the sole plates. Putter – In this deal is a Ping Zing 5 Putter.  You guessed it ……. it’s also (BeCu) Beryllium Copper.  This putter is a very rare find in and of itself worth over $200.00 alone.  Original grip and shaft are in good condition.  A set like this is almost impossible to find.  I rate them as 8.5 out of 10.  In summary, this deal includes the irons, woods and putter – the whole matching set!  These clubs are ready to head to the course.  All they need is one proud owner.  Will you be the one?
